Our Wii Game of the Year wins the award for Best Gameplay at the BAFTAs Was there really any other competition though? The British Academy of Film and TV Arts (who also have video game awards) Awards were recently held with Super Mario Galaxy 2 taking out the prestigious award for Best Gameplay, beating out nominees including Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, God of War III, Heavy Rain, and Mass Effect 2. Unofortunately SMG 2 lost out in the award for Best Original Music, which went to Heavy Rain, and the award for Best Game, which went to Mass Effect 2.
